Niche Food

This video is a lovely tribute to Jennifer Perillo and her husband Mikey who passed away suddenly less than a week ago.  I met Jennifer Perillo more than a year ago as run into each other a lot at food blogger events. She has spoken at TECHmunch New York in 2010 and 2011.  I have always been amazed at how she is able to cook, blog, take of her family and still have both offline and online time for her fellow food bloggers. I have been blogging for nearly eight years, and the food blogger community is one of the strongest groups I know. They rallied behind Ivory Hut when her home burned down. They supported Alice when her father died earlier this year, as well as brought attention to global disasters like Haiti and Japan.  I am honored to be a part of this passionate group of people.
