Damn Gina, Cheeseburger Casserole
Monday, I competed with Patrice in the 7th annual Casserole Crazy Cook-off and we won!
Instead of researching recipes, we actually discussed what we wanted to make and Patrice made a sketch of the casserole.
The day of the event we go to Pathmark and buy all the ingredients.
- 2 cans of Pillsbury Grands Jr. Biscuit
- Family size package of ground beef
- 1 can of Tomato Paste
- 1 whole yellow onion
- 1 jar of Vlasic Kosher Dill pickles
- 1 jar of Ragu Cheese Sauce
- 2 packs of shredded Sargento Four Cheese
Also we use a glove of garlic and sesame seeds for the mini buns.
Brown the ground beef. To season the ground beef I added seasoning (salt, pepper, adobo) as well as mustard and horseradish.
Chopped the onions and sauteed them.
